This concentrate allows for an alternative to sugary juices and sodas bought at a corner store. This healthy product is 100% fruit that can be used for more than just juice. Everyone knows what an apple tastes like. Or a strawberry, pear, peach, pineapple… I thought I did. Until one year my Grandpa sent my two brother’s and I each an apple from his own small, New Jersey orchard. Each one cradled in soft tissue to prevent bruising and individually wrapped befitting each grandson’s special distinction. At the time I thought an apple was an apple and wondered why Grandpa would take the time to send us each such an ordinary, readily available gift. That is until I tasted it. I barely had time to realize just how good it was until it was gone, core and all; It was one of those times when your body itself seems to recognize the goodness of what it is consuming and takes over the eating experience from your conscious mind. It was not an apple. At least not what I had come to know as an apple. Obviously something very precious had been lost from the grocery store “apples” I had been eating all along; Evaporated away on the long journey from… wherever, polished up and presented as an apple but not an apple. Not really. Not even close. Anyone who has tasted real fruit knows that what is available in most stores is not fruit. At least not the best that fruit can be. So when I received my first order of Smartfruit the last thing I was expecting was that same, indescribable taste and flavor that accompanies real fruit. But there it was. That missing ingredient… The fruit itself! That special fruit “essence” somehow intact and in a bottle. A very special accomplishment. Thank you.
